The board of directors of Orca has a well balanced mix of technical, corporate and administrative capacity. Collectively, the board boasts a strong history of project acquisition, development and management and extensive experience in capital raising in Australia and Europe.
Mr Bandy is a senior advisor at Patersons Securities. He has over ten years' experience with capital markets and currently holds an executive board position with Red Emperor Resources NL and previously with Car Parking Technologies (formerly Empire Beer Group). He brings with him an intimate knowledge of equities and corporate transactions as well as an array of opportunities to Orca Energy.
Mr Bontempo has worked in Investment Banking and Corporate Advisory since qualifying as a chartered accountant with Ernst & Young in 1997. Mr Bontempo has worked for investment banks in Australia and the UK and has been closely involved with the advising and financing of companies in the resources industry specialising in asset sales and ASX listings.
Mr King is a corporate lawyer by background with over 10 years experience in domestic and international legal, financial and corporate matters. He spent several years in London where he worked with Allen & Overy LLP and Debevoise & Plimpton LLP. He has extensive corporate experience, particularly in relation to cross-border private equity, leveraged buy-out acquisitions and acting for banks, financial institutions and corporate issuers in respect of various debt and equity capital raisings. As a corporate advisor with Max Capital Pty Limited, he regularly advises a wide range of ASX listed public companies in respect of capital raisings and corporate issues.
